Centre Police, Fire, and ProHealth to Host Community Thanksgiving Dinner

 

CENTRE, Ala. — The Centre Police Department, Centre Fire Department, and ProHealth Home Health & Hospice are partnering to host a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m., or until meals are gone, at the Centre Police Department, located at 999 West Main Street.

Community members are invited to stop by, enter through the front lobby, and pick up a to-go plate before exiting through the back door.

For those who are homebound and unable to attend in person, meal delivery will be available. To request delivery, residents can call 256-927-3661 and provide their name, address, and phone number. The deadline to register for delivery is November 20, 2025.

Organizers note that plates will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

This annual event brings local first responders and health professionals together to share the spirit of Thanksgiving and support the Centre community.
