According to city officials, the funding will be used to make key improvements to the facility, including the addition of a restroom and other upgrades that will enhance services for the community.

Mayor Joe Taylor and city leaders say the investment will strengthen the city’s recycling program, improve efficiency, and provide a better experience for residents who use the facility.

“This grant allows us to continue improving services for our citizens while supporting environmental sustainability in Rainbow City,” officials said in a statement.

The project is expected to move forward in the coming months.
