McCords Crossroads Homemakers Club to Host 7th Annual Field to Fork Event Honoring Cherokee County Farmers

The McCords Crossroads Homemakers Club invites the community to join in celebrating and honoring the hardworking farmers of Cherokee County at the 7th Annual Field to Fork event. This special gathering will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Held each year as a tribute to local agriculture and rural life, Field to Fork promises an afternoon filled with family-friendly fun, delicious farm-to-table food, live music, and exciting door prizes. Attendees can also look forward to a lively auction featuring a variety of unique and handcrafted items.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Mr. Bob Plaster, Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture for the State of Alabama, who will share insights and words of encouragement for the farming community and its supporters.

Organizers encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the festivities, and take part in honoring those who help feed our families and sustain the local economy. This one-of-a-kind event is open to the public, and all are welcome.
