In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Timothy Nail, age 36 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of the violation of a protective order.

Tameeka Smith, age 43 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
