🎃The City of Attalla’s Heritage Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission. There will be something for everyone to enjoy in Historic Downtown Attalla. There will be a kid zone for all ages and over 125 food and craft vendors. Two stages of live music will feature performances by the Etowah High School Band, Kings of Swing, II Da Maxx Band, Jeremy Noble, Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble, Still Broke, Woody Strut Bankd, Jon Player, Adam Swann, Ragan Lonneragan, and Southland Soul. Gadsden State Cherokee and the Cherokee County Department of Human Resources will co-host Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the front Academic Building parking lot at 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The free public event will include Trunk or Treat, games, candy, face painting, and an opportunity to have your picture made with Swoop, the Cardinal mascot..

The Fort Payne Chamber of Commerce Annual Halloween Block Party is set for Thursday, Oct. 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the DeKalb County VFW Fairgrounds, 151 18th Street NE in Fort Payne. Join us for another fun year of trick-or-treating. Inside the VFW Fairgrounds, we encourage you to go on in and walk around. Try and form lines in front of the businesses rather than a single line all around. It is free to participate, both businesses and trick-or-treaters.
Happy Trick or Treat! Cherokee Manor residents will be handing out treats in the Activity Room from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. They are located at 394 Northwood Drive in Centre (across from Atrium Health Floyd Urgent Care).

🎃The 47th Annual Fall Festival hosted by Downtown Cedartown Association will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET in historic downtown Cedartown, Georgia. There will be local and traveling art and craft vendors, all types of food vendors, face painting, and more.
