A three-vehicle accident took place on U.S. 411 in Cherokee County about 4:20 Wednesday afternoon – that was just north of County Road 34 – and reports indicate that two individuals were injured in the mishap.
That incident involved a 2019 Kia being driven by a female from Centre – who wasn’t hurt in the mishap; also involved was a 2020 Hyundai driven by a female from Piedmont – and a 2015 Ford, being driven by a Gadsden resident and the drivers of those two vehicles were each taken to an area hospital for treatment immediately afterwards.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
