In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

MIRANDA KRAUSE age 42 of Rome, Georgia – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol;

TINA PARKER age 60 from Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

GORDON ROGERS, age 64 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and was charged – with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, also Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and a Violation of the Prohibition Law;

CAITLIN WARD – age 38 of Cedar Bluff – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Probation Revocation (four counts);

CLARENCE VAUGHN – age 64 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Assault 3rd Degree, and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree;

And

KENNETH STOKES – age 32 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by Centre Police on a charge of Harassment.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
