In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

CLIFFORD ALFORD, 48 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Carry a Firearm;

STEPHANIE WARREN, age 51 from Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute, Obstructing Vehicle VIN Number, the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

CODY MALLETT, age 31 of Gadsden, was arrested by Centre Police, on the charge of Bail Jumping 2nd Degree;

BRITTANY CAVIN, age 38 from Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

And

ALEXANDER BROWN, age 29 of Centre was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Theft of Property 1st Degree and with two counts of Burglary 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 105 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
