In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JAMES WAINWRIGHT, age 57 of Collinsville, arrested by Centre Police on charges of Obstruction/Bail Jumping and Theft of Property 4th Degree;

AUSTIN HUBBARD, 28 from Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with three counts of Driving while Revoked – an Insurance Violation – a Probation Revocation, three counts – Criminal Mischief, 2nd Degree – Harassing Communications – Domestic Violence, 3rd Degree – Theft of Property, 4th Degree – and Attempting to Elude;

STEVEN MASON, age 45 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Non-Support;

And

JUSTIN TWILLEY, age 40 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and five counts – the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently – there are 92 inmates that are housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
