CENTRE– Atrium Floyd EMS transported two people to a nearby hospital Tuesday morning after a three-vehicle crash in Centre.
The crash occurred on Armory Road, just off U.S. 411 near Texaco. As a result, traffic backed up during the morning school commute.
Centre Fire and Centre Police responded to the scene. In addition, multiple Atrium Floyd EMS units assisted with the response.
According to information from the scene, a Dodge Dart struck the rear of a Ford Super Duty pickup truck. The pickup then appeared to strike a Nissan Altima.
Crews transported both people who were traveling in the Dart to a nearby hospital.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
