Cherokee County Law Enforcement Officials are searching for a man who apparently shot another person late Saturday night in Cherokee County.

According to Cherokee County Chief Deputy Josh Summerford – that apparent dispute led to the victim being shot in front of a residence on County Road 40 shortly before 11:00pm and he was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Reportedly, a suspect was quickly identified and deputies are currently searching for the individual.
