Gaylesville boys sink 17 3-pointers in area basketball win at Jacksonville Christian

JACKSONVILLE – The Gaylesville Trojans sank 17 3-pointers in a 76-63 area boys basketball win at Jacksonville Christian on Thursday.

Kyler Bradley led the Trojans with 25 points, including four 3-pointers. He also had 10 rebounds, four steals, two blocks and two assists.

Daylen Dobbins delivered six treys and had 18 points to go along with six rebounds and an assist. Kuper Bradley connected on four treys and tallied 16 points to go along with eight assists, six rebounds and two steals.

Collin Hendon had 10 points, including two treys, with eight rebounds, seven steals and six assists. Caden Angle finished with seven points, including a 3-pointer, with three rebounds, a steal and a block.

Jesse Gannaway topped the Thunder with 26 points, including three treys. Moses Averrette added 13 points. Noah Lee rang for 11 points. Travis Barnhill sank a pair of treys for six points. Bryson Dowdy finished with five points.

Gaylesville led throughout the game. The Trojans held a 23-14 advantage at the end of the first quarter and built a 39-25 lead at halftime. Gaylesville was up 56-40 after three quarters.
