This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

(TODAY) Tuesday through Sunday

Severe storms will remain possible across southeast portions of Central Alabama through 9 AM on Tuesday.  Damaging winds – up to 60 mph – are possible along with a low end threat for tornadoes.

Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph outside thunderstorm activity and a threat of flash flooding will likely continue across southeast portions of Central Alabama through 9 AM Tuesday.

Severe storms will be possible again on Friday, especially in southern portions of Central Alabama. Threats include damaging winds up to 60 mph, hail up to quarter size, and isolated tornadoes. Winds outside thunderstorms may also gust to 35 mph.

SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

through Tuesday morning and again on Friday.
