St.Clair sinks six treys in leading Sand Rock girls past Collinsville

COLLINSVILLE – Katelyn St.Clair tossed in 29 points, including six 3-pointers, in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 74-23 girls area basketball victory at Collinsville on Friday night.

St.Clair added six rebounds and four steals for the Lady Wildcats (8-2). Chloe Stephens collected 12 points, including three treys. Kennedy Henderson had 10 points, 12 boards and four steals. Zoey Handy also finished with 10 points.

Karly Middlebrooks led Collinsville with 13 points, including three 3-pointers.

In boys action, Collinsville claimed a 54-39 victory.

Zach Clanton led the Panthers with 18 points. Jake Middlebrooks tossed in 16 points. Gavin Lang, Dawson Cothran and Mason McAteer each managed six points. Lang and McAteer’s points came on a pair of 3-pointers apiece.

Cam Gifford topped Sand Rock with 13 points. Gatlin Cox contributed seven points, including a pair of treys. Carson Wiford and Ty Traffanstedt both finished with six points.
