Police Investigating Fatal Hit and Run

Rome Police are still searching for the driver who fled the scene of a fatal South Rome wreck late Friday.

According to Rome Police the single-vehicle accident took place between Branham and Pennington Avenues in South Rome just prior to 9:00pm.

 The passenger of that wreck – identified as Twinsal Allen – was ejected and killed.  Rome Police Department, Assistant Chief, Debbie Burnett – said that they are currently investigating the incident.
