Both law enforcement, and emergency personnel, responded to reports of a vehicle fire occurring overnight (Sunday to Monday morning), on I-59 in Etowah County. That vehicle – a van pulling a camper – reportedly caught fire at around 2:20 this morning (Monday).
Emergency personnel quickly responded to that scene, bringing the blaze under control. It appears no one was hurt in the mishap.
The incident remains under investigation, by the Alabama State Patrol.
