This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

Outlook through Tonight.

A combination of hot temperatures and humid conditions could produce heat index values at or above 105 degrees across much of Central Alabama.

Strong to marginally severe storms will be possible in the far north generally between 2:00 and 8:00pm damaging winds and quarter size hail are possible.

Friday through next Wednesday.

A combination of hot temperatures and humid conditions could produce heat index values at or above 105 degrees during the daytime hours through Friday.

Strong to severe storms will be possible across much of Central Alabama Friday during the afternoon and evening hours.  Also, Damaging winds and quarter size hail are possible.

SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed on Thursday and Friday.
