Armuchee Woman Jailed On Felony Animal Cruelty Charges
An Armuchee woman was arrested last Wednesday at her Floyd Springs Road home on four counts of Cruelty to Animals, and on one count of aggravated cruelty to animals.
According to Floyd County Jail records – 41-year-old Constance Elinor Grissett, was housing four dogs in deplorable conditions, which were so bad the house had to be condemned.

A deceased dog was also found in Grissett’s bed.

She stated that she watched the dog suffer a seizure until it died and did not seek medical attention.
