Truck Fire At Pollards Bend
The Centre and Leesburg Fire Departments were dispatched to an 18 wheeler fire at the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road 7 Monday afternoon.
Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee told WEIS Radio news the brakes heated up catching a tire on fire. The fire units quickly brought the blaze under control with minimal damage to the vehicle.
That call went out at 3pm.
