Hendon tosses one-hitter in Gaylesville baseball win over Valley Head

GAYLESVILLE – Collin Hendon tossed a one-hitter with seven strikeouts through five innings. He also had a hit, a walk, two stolen bases, a run and two RBIs at the plate to help the Gaylesville Trojans defeat visiting Valley Head 11-1 in baseball action on Monday.

Kyler Bradley led the Trojans (7-2) at the plate by going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. JJ Yarbrough had a double, a walk, a run and two RBIs. Briley Mitchell also doubled, scored a run and had two RBIs. Tanner Eads added a double and a run. Hunter Allmond had a hit with three stolen bases, two walks, a run and a RBI. Kuper Bradley also had a hit with a walk and a run.

Braden Sharp was walked, hit by a pitch, had two stolen bases, scored two runs and drove in another. Karrson Ray finished with a walk, a run and a RBI.

Gaylesville is scheduled to travel to Gaston on Thursday.
