Mrs. Mary Conkle Hopkins age 78 0f Fort Payne passed away Tuesday December
27 at her at residence surrounded by her beloved family.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday January 2nd at Perry Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating, burial will follow in
Tuckers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM
until 1 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include husband, Raymond Hopkins; son, Jonathan (Deborah)
Ladd; brothers, Wayne Conkle, Ezell Conkle and Johnny Conkle;
grandchildren, Jereme Haynes, Anthony Ladd and Sheila Quiles;
great-grandchildren, Sadie Durham, Madison Durham and Aaron Quiles;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ledon Conkle and RL Conkle;
sisters, RuthAnn Conkle and Verna Walker.
Mrs. Hopkins was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the
late Joseph and Era Conkle and was of the Baptist Faith.
