Officials say two people are dead following a house fire in Gadsden. A number of fire departments and other agencies responded overnight to a blaze in the 2100 block of Hill Avenue. Emergency crews responded following a 9-1-1 call from a neighbor around 3:00am.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
The blaze is under investigation by the Gadsden Fire Department, the Etowah County Arson Task Force and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
