A single-vehicle auto accident occurring in Talladega County Friday (December 24th) claimed the life of a Wetumpka woman.  

According to Public Information Officer Trooper Justin O’Neal – Danielle Morgan, age 37 – was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer she was driving left the roadway and struck an embankment.

Morgan was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

That crash took place on Alabama Avenue, less than a mile from Sylacauga.  Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s  (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
