  • “NEW” Teen Book Club: Rather Be Reading

Teens ages 13-18 will meet on Monday, December 20, at 3:30 to discuss their book pick of the month.

  • December’s book: Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Reading Around Book Club meets on Thursday, December 2, at 11 AM at the Gridiron for lunch.
  • Kids & Kin: A Statewide supportive program for anyone caring for relative’s children. Hands-on learning activities, arts & crafts, with fun for children and adults. Everyone is welcome! Contact Larinda Garrett at 334-465-0099 for more information. Meetings are from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
  • November 30: How to Help Children Find Their Purpose
  • Chair Yoga: 2nd & 3rd Friday in December from 11:45-12:00. Join Linda Abernathy for a 15-minute yoga session to help improve flexibility and relieve stress. No special clothing is required.
  • Centre Career Center: Career Specialist Andre Mitchell will be at the library Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for assistance with your job search needs.
  • Services include resume preparation, job search assistance, WIOA eligibility, on-the-job training, etc.
