November is National Diabetes Awareness Month / Discussion with Atrium Health Floyd on WEIS Radio Morning Show

Recognizing – and then immediately acting on – the early warning signs of diabetes is extremely important and with November designated as National Diabetes Awareness Month – Jerry Baker welcomed to the WEIS Radio morning show on Tuesday, some of the top experts in the field from Floyd Medical Center.

That included: Director of Public Information, Dan Bevels; Sue Brown, the Director of Nutrition; and Tandi Smith, a nurse with the Diabetes Education Team at Floyd – who shared with listeners some of those important red flags to take notice of:
