Alvis Steve Jolly, age 73 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, October 20th at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

Funeral services will be 11:AM Saturday, October 23rd at Old Nazareth Baptist Church with Rich Jennings officiating; burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:AM Saturday at the church.

Pallbearers include Shane Jolly, Greg Jolly, Hunter Jolly, Alex Jolly,Jim Nesbut, Justin Matthews.

Survivors include son, Shane (Shannon) Jolly; daughter, Melissa Jolly; brothers, Troy (Edna) Jolly, Glen (Nelda) Jolly, Greg (Elizabeth) Jolly; grandchildren, Alex Jolly, Hunter (Haley) Jolly; great grandchildren, Wilder Jolly, Kyleigh Jolly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Ann Ferguson Jolly and a brother, Ray Jolly.

Mr. Jolly was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Alvis Chester and Josephine Acker Jolly and was of the Baptist faith.
