We had reports of a single-vehicle accident, taking place on County Road 45 – close to County Road 16 – at approximately 6:05 Friday morning.
It appears a vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Early indications were the driver got out of the vehicle under their own power, and merely shaken up in that incident – escaping injury.
The McCord’s Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
