The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has just released information on a fatal crash occurring Wednesday, June 30th in Etowah County.

That collision involved a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by a 19 year old resident of Attalla and a 2019 Freightliner Tractor-Trailer – that accident report indicated that the jeep crossed the centerline, and struck the tractor-trailer shortly after 9:00pm on U.S. 278 near McCourt Road in the Walnut Grove community. 

The teenager, who wasn’t using a seat belt was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.  No additional information is being released at this point – and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
