SAND ROCK – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats had four players score in double figures, led by Lanie Henderson’s 25 points, in an 83-36 basketball victory over Cedar Bluff on Tuesday.
Henderson sank five 3-pointers in the game. She also grabbed 11 rebounds, had four steals and an assist for the Lady Wildcats (14-10).
Katelyn St. Clair collected 19 points, six rebounds, six steals, two assists and a block. Haley Grace Lisenbee contributed 13 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, four steals and a block. Emilee Burton posted 10 points, three rebounds and a block.
Makenzi Blackwell and Arleigh Beard both scored six points. Blackwell also had two assists and a steal. Beard also came away with three rebounds and three steals.
In the boys game, Cade Ballenger delivered 14 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in leading the Wildcats to a 78-44 victory.
Garyn Sharpe added 13 points and five assists for Sand Rock (19-4). Jacob St. Clair tossed in 12 points. Xander Bradley finished with 11 points, four assists and three blocks.
Alexander Leek led Cedar Bluff with 12 points.
Sand Rock hosts Fyffe on Friday.
