Piedmont Mayor Bill Baker has informed WEIS Radio that a poll worker who worked the poll Tuesday at the Piedmont Municipal Court location has tested positive for COVID 19.

This poll worker has been hospitalized.  Mayor Baker said that legal Counsel advised the City to notify the voters who may have voted at that voting site so that they might be made aware of this situation.

Baker said that they shared this information on his personal Facebook page as well as the official City of Piedmont Facebook page.  

All poll workers were wearing mask the day of voting. Mayor Baker said that if you show any symptoms please get tested immediately.
