Cherokee County Coroner Dr. Jeremy Deaton has confirmed that an unidentified individual is dead following a fiery crash on Alabama Highway 68 West between Leesburg and Sand Rock.
The two-vehicle accident involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle at around 10:45am Tuesday. Deaton said that the deceased was ejected from the car involved in the crash. No additional information is being released at this this time.
