Gadsden Man Found Shot to Death Inside Home

An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death in Gadsden early Friday.

Gadsden police responded a little before 2:30 a.m. to the 400 block of Henry Street on reports of shots fired, said Sgt. John Hallman. Once on the scene, they found a gunshot victim inside the residence. He was pronounced dead by Gadsden Fire and Rescue.

Police identified the victim as Kelvin Bernard Bradford. He was 49 and lived in Gadsden.

Hallman said no one is yet in custody. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective Jeff Hopper at 256-569-4632 or 256-549-4500.
