One person was taken to the hospital to be checked out, following a two-vehicle accident at 2120 Alexis Road in Centre on Monday morning. 

Those involved were – according to the Centre Police Department accident report – Melissa Love, age 18 of Attalla, driving a 2007 Nissan Altima and 84 year old Margaret Rogers from Centre, driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla.  Love was unhurt – however Rogers was transported to Floyd Cherokee Medical Center by Floyd EMS.

That mishap occurred just before 11:00 with Centre Police, the Centre Fire Department and Floyd EMS responding.
