Anniston Man Dies After Making Contact with Live Wire while Working in Tennessee

A northeast Alabama man employed as an electrical worker died Thursday while on the job in Tennessee.

According to the Nashville Police Department, Greg Turner, age 27 of Anniston, accidentally made contact with a live wire while working on a pole.  Turner was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died.  Police stated that Turner was working for Davis H. Elliot, Inc., an electrical construction and maintenance contractor based in Lexington, Kentucky.

The death has been classified as accidental.
