Rome Police now have warrants on Nakotah Javez Smith, charging him with the murder of Crystal Dawn Vega.  Vega was shot in the head Friday evening on West 13th Street and later died at Floyd Medical Center.

Smith, who remains at large, was initially labeled as a person of interest in the shooting.

Now, he is being sought on murder charges.
