Students and staff in Cherokee County Schools will honor our veterans next week. Veterans, veterans’ families, parents, and community members are invited to attend the programs listed below. Cherokee County Schools will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017, in observance of Veteran’s Day.
- Cedar Bluff School – Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. in the
high school gym. - Centre Elementary School – Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 9:00 a.m.
- Centre Middle School – Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 9:00 a.m.
- Cherokee County High School – Monday, November 13, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.
in the gym. - Gaylesville School – Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. in the
new gym. - Sand Rock School – Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. in the new
gym. - Spring Garden School – Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the
school auditorium (old gym).
Spring Garden first and second grade classes will pay tribute to veterans. Pictures of veterans should be sent to Mrs. Broome by November 3rd in order to be included in the slideshow.
