An Etowah County teen has been arrested and charged with the Chemical Endangerment of a child for using drugs while pregnant. Sheriff Todd Entrekin says that 19 year old Brittany Marie Campbell of Gadsden tested positive for methamphetamine while pregnant and she’s now being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
Campbell will be required to complete a drug treatment program, and will be monitored by Etowah County Community Corrections as a condition of bond.
