WEIS Radio News has learned that a parent of a Cedar Bluff School football player, has been banned from all Cedar Bluff school events, after tackling a player during football practice on Wednesday afternoon.

Two players were involved in a scuffle when the parent raced onto the field and took one of the players to the ground.

Its believed that, afterwards, that tackled student was taken to an area medical facility to be checked out.

According to Cedar Bluff Police, 39 year old Jeffery Lane Crane of Cedar Bluff was arrested on a warrant for charges of Assault 3rd Degree and released on bond.
