An investigation into the death of one person, and hospitalization of another on Wednesday night continues.
According to Oxford Police, 41 year old Reginald Tyrone Spell, Jr., was pronounced dead at 8:45pm from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
His wife, whose name has not been released, is reportedly recovering in a Birmingham area hospital from unspecified injuries; police say they hope to question her in the coming days.
Dispatchers received a call from the couple’s neighbors at around 6:00pm reporting what is being referred to as a domestic dispute occurring in the front yard of the residence on Eden Place.
