A Gadsden woman was jailed after admitting to taking drugs during her pregnancy.
According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin, 31 year old April Nicole Frier, has been charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child.
She admitted to investigators that, while pregnant, she had taken Oxycodone and opiates.
Frier was transported to the Etowah County Detention Center, where she is being held on a $5,000 property bond; following her release, she’ll be under supervision of Etowah County Community Corrections and must successfully complete a treatment program.
