Flooyd County Jury Finds Sullivan Guilty on All Counts

Sullivan GuiltyJamarrcus Sullivan has been found guilty on all counts in connection with the June of 2013 shooting death of Kevin Daniel.

Sullivan, and his two co-defendants – Antonio Jones and Christopher Smith – were facing a long list of charges including murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Jones testified that he, Sullivan and Smith planned to rob the victim of drugs and money at his home on Wheeler Avenue in Rome however during the incident Daniel managed to grab a shotgun from one of the men and at that point, Jones said he ran outside.

He said he then heard what sounded like gunshots and glass breaking, then saw Daniel fall off the porch of the home into the yard; he says that’s when he saw Sullivan shoot Daniel.

In contrast to Jones’ testimony, Kelvin Clinkscales testified that he had gone to the home to rob Daniel; Clinkscales is already serving time for a murder in Fulton County.

According to prosecutors, in a letter sent to Jones by Sullivan, he said Clickscales was going to take credit for the crime.

Jones and Smith have yet to be tried.

Sentencing for Sullivan has been set for February 10th at 10:00am.
