GAYLESVILLE– Gaylesville School will host its annual Veterans Day program and a fall festival Thursday, Nov. 5.
The morning program begins at 9 a.m. in the school’s new gym. Afterward, veterans can stay for a luncheon in the FACS room, with one guest accompanying each veteran.
Luncheon forms have gone home with students. Families with a veteran attending should return the form by Monday, Nov. 2.
Later that day, the school’s PTSO will host its fall festival from 5 to 7 p.m. Activities include games, bounce houses, face painting, a cake walk, concessions, and a hayride, while FCA will also distribute free Bibles.
The festival also includes a raffle for a Big Green Egg. Organizers will announce the winner during the event.
Both events take place at Gaylesville School, located at 760 Trojan Way. Families can contact the school at 256-927-1738 for more information about either gathering, as well as luncheon arrangements.
