ALEXANDRIA – Emma Hill allowed just one run on six hits with three walks and 13 strikeouts in a 4-1 win over White Plains Friday in the Class 4A, Area 12 softball tournament at Alexandria.
Journie Cabe led the Lady Warriors at the plate by going 2-for-3. Kaylee Lewis delivered a two-run single. Bristol Bass and Izzy Patterson both drove in a run.
Cherokee County will take on Alexandria in the winners bracket on Saturday.
