An accident on Cedar Bluff road this morning had traffic backed up in both directions.

The accident happened in the vicinity of lake side drive. The wreck involved 3 different vehicles, and the call initially came in with possible entrapment and injuries. Officials at the scene confirmed there was one injury requiring treatment.

Centre Fire and Rescue, Police, Cherokee County Deputies, and Atrium Health Floyd Medics responded.

Centre Police officers were retrieving information from pieces of a vehicle that has went down into a ditch off of the road.
