From the ALEA State Trooper Office in Gadsden, the road conditions for All Three Counties, All State and Federal have no travel issues. All County Roads have icy patches. Please use extreme caution when driving on Icy Roadways.
The ALEA State Troopers Continue to Monitor the Road Situation and will update accordingly.
Evan Morgan with the Cherokee County Highway Department tells WEIS Radio News, the County roads are getting much better with drying occurring. He said the secondary roads on Lookout Mountain and other higher elevation areas still have ice and snow on them. Morgan said most roads can be traveled but extreme caution is advised due to patchy icing in some areas.
