Two Injured in Single Vehicle Accident Sunday
A single vehicle accident occurred Sunday evening when 68 year old Dennis Forester lost control of the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving. The vehicle ran off county road 13 in the Alexis community and plunged into Weiss Lake. He and a passenger, 37 year old Hubert Perry of Centre managed to escape the submerged vehicle. Both were transported to Atrium Floyd ER in Rome where they were treated and released.
The Alabama State Troopers investigated the accident.
