Just recently, Senator Sam Givhan ( R-Huntsville) said tougher penalties should be brought forth against operators of illegal gambling establishments, if lawmakers want to prevent it from happening in Alabama.

It’s been so close to become legal, but it still is not legal to gamble at all.

Illegal gambling establishments will  continue to remain widespread. Givhan said, “I think we’re going to have to make it a felony to stop anything.”
