In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

BILLY HUNTER, age 63 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by Centre Police and charged with Failure to Appear on Traffic Offenses (two counts);

And

KENNETH STOKES, age 62 of Decatur, Georgia – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Forgery/Forged Instrument.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
