During the Tuesday afternoon City of Centre Council Meeting, Mayor Mark Mansfield addressed the Council about the 3R Rodeo Sponsorship agreement with the Chamber of Commerce.
Mansfield informed the Council that the setup would almost be exactly the same as last year’s. The rodeo will take place in Estes Park on June 13-14. Again, it will be long hours for the Centre Police Department and all the City employees. The Council was very happy with the overall turnout and hope for the same this upcoming year. It will be a very special event in June. It was approved unanimously.
Next on the agenda, the Council approved the Ladd Engineers Agreement for Rebuild Alabama Act application for funding for $1,500.
The Council approved a $100 ad for the City of Centre for the program for the Freedom Fund Banquet on October 12th.
