The Northeast Alabama Regional Airport (KGAD) invites the greater Gadsden community to its
4th annual fly-in event on Saturday, September 21, 2024, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The free event is open
to the public with activities and excitement for aviation enthusiasts of all ages!
“This event gets bigger and bigger each year,” said Anthony Tarver, manager of the Gadsden
Airport. “With everything we’ve added this year, I can’t wait to see families coming out to enjoy
their community airport while celebrating aviation and aircraft of all types. We invite everyone
to bring their children, friends, and family to enjoy the 4th annual Fly-In at the Gadsden Airport!”
A fly-in event allows aviators and the community to come together to enjoy aircraft of all types
on-site at the airport. Attendees will have hands-on experience with aviation, and pilots and
aircraft owners will network and connect with their peers.
The event will include local food truck vendors, bounce houses, a flight simulator, specialized
aircraft, helicopters, and more! If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly activity to do this
September, the Gadsden Airport’s Fly-in on Saturday, September 21, 2024, is for you!
Interested sponsors can call the Northeast Alabama Regional Airport at 256-442-3313 for more
